Management and Program Analyst

As a Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-11 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Assisting with the development and coordination of the USMS criminal, civil and investigative support programs. Assisting with the analysis of current District policies, procedures, and practices to identify more efficient and effective methods for accomplishing various program objectives. Preparing reports as directed; conducting special studies and serving on ad hoc teams as assigned. Providing oversight, training, advice and guidance to administrative personnel and their assigned programs in the areas of criminal, civil, and investigative support duties within the office or sub-office. GS-11 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-09 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-11 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0343-11 level, if you fulfill one of the following
Qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to 1) Review proposed policies, procedures, initiative, regulations, best practices, and/or data to evaluate their impact on program operations, 2) Analyze procedures to identify more efficient and effective methods for accomplishing objectives pursuant with agency policies, and 3) Plan and implement tasks/projects for identified methods that improve the efficiency and productivity of administrative programs. OR B. A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or possession of a LL.M. degree, if related. Graduate level education must demonstrate the competencies necessary to do the work of the position, examples of qualifying fields include Criminal Justice, Business Administration, etc. (MUST SUBMIT TRANSCRIPTS) OR C. A combination of education and experience as listed above. (MUST SUBMIT TRANSCRIPTS) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
