Automotive Technician Mechanic


A very highly respected Fortune 500 company in the heavy truck modification business is looking for Senior Automotive Technicians/Mechanics for locations in Laredo TX . Candidates should have experience working at a heavy duty truck dealership, a truck fleet or for a truck manufacturer.
Duties:
Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
Experience working on class 8 trucks (Freightliner, Navistar, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt or Kenworth)
Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products, hydraulic systems, pump and blower products, air brakes systems, electrical, air conditioning and basic welding skills
Can resolve complex technical problems
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Diagnose and repair electrical systems on trucks
Work overtime as workload dictates
Work in other areas of shop as assigned
Ability to assemble and disassemble components
Ability to work with minimal supervision
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Troubleshoot and complete repairs to all aspects and systems of the truck
Must own a personal level of tool inventory, we will supply some of the specialty tools
Basic computer skills to operate today's diagnostic electronic tools
Electrical troubleshooting abilities
Drive train familiarity

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
