Description Primary responsibilities include engineering, architecting, developing, and documenting software and integration solutions in a distributed environment, using various languages, databases and platforms.
Generates and documents procedures.
Produces designs for Enterprise solutions.
Required to learn company policies and procedures.
Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or other related Engineering discipline.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and defect tracking ability Strong understanding of software testing methodology Skillful SOA, SQL, Cobol and Query 400 experience Familiar with UML, TCP/IP, Socket/Network communication, RDBMS systems, batch/shell scripting, Unix/Linux environments.
Ability to focus efforts where needed when test/development time is limited Attention to detail and a strong desire for quality Tactful when describing system deficiencies and able to understand the customer s point of view Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining the highest level of standards Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills Communication effective listening, speaking, and writing skills Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
