has an opening for Logistics Supervisor in Laredo, TX.
Position requires domestic and international travel at least once per quarter for approximately 3:
4 days at a time.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Transportation, or related field plus two (2) years experience in project management and team development within international freight forwarding organization.
Experience must include:
1.
Experience with generating and distributing reports related to review inventory management, inventory turnover, KPI reporting and productivity reporting (includes:
use of data management, MS Excel and MS Access) 2.
Experience with creating process specific training and experience implement such training.
3.
Experience with creating and implementing standard operations procedures for both internal and external customers with emphasis in Lean Manufacturing operations.
5.
Experience in leading Cross functional teams and aligning processes over different levels of the organization (warehouse to administration) in order to achieve goals established by the corporation.
6.
Experience in preparing financial reports and analysis including Excel reports containing data essential for day to day management of inventory and distribution operations as well as EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) level financial analysis daily.
Position requires domestic and international travel at least once per quarter for approximately 3:
4 days at a time.
