4K a year Join our Team! Laredo Medical Center's (LMC) Surgery Department is now hiring a full-Time Surgery Patient Transporter to work in our thriving department at LMC's 326 acute bed care hospital.
The department is a secure department with 8 fully operational OR rooms in the main campus of Laredo Medical Center.
This is a busy unit that does an average of 25-35 surgeries per day.
We offer full time hours as well as call time and pay.
The Hospital is located in sunny Laredo, Texas just 150 miles south of historic San Antonio.

Position's Purpose and
Essential Functions:
Transports patients to and from their inpatient beds and other areas.
Other responsibilities include assisting operating room personnel with the preparation of surgical rooms and retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Typically reports to a supervisor.
Job Requirements Include:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred or experience.
Required:
BLS, within 30 days of hire.
Required:
Must be 18 years of age.
Required:
Must be mature and able to work in stressful situations.
Preferred:
Hospital or medical experience.
No experience necessary.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Experience Required High school graduate Education Preferred High School or better Licenses & Certifications Required C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac Behaviors Required Enthusiastic:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
