Job
Summary:
This position is responsible for the stocking and maintenance of floral/produce products in local stores.
The employee will help to drive sales by ensuring a high-quality, fully stocked display in stores.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Pull products from each store's designated area in the back room, and bring them to the display/sales floor Check product for sell by dates, bad flowers, or other defects Check plant soil and water if needed Clean all surfaces of the display and follow standards and schematics Clean floor around the display of any spilled soil or water Communicate and give report via company-approved communication apps, including taking pictures to be uploaded to our reporting app with a smartphone This includes:
the displays before service, remaining back stock of floral/produce, any damaged items, the display after the service, vendor portal sign in/out.
Communicate to store management regarding the status of the displays when finished Performs other related duties as assigned - Although travel is not required, the job is merchandising in several different store locations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of retail merchandising best practices Creativity, and a knowledge of how to best present products Education and
Experience:
Some experience with merchandising, retail sales, or floral work preferred Valid Driver's License required Physical Requirements:
