Adhere to TSA/KSMS and other government regulatory compliance standards.
Answer phones and emails professionally and timely.
Communicate with sales, customer service, and other Maersk stations when problems arise.
Understand TSA regulations and ensure compliance.
Prepare documents for air shipments.
Perform data entry and general customer service duties.
Complete and accurately enter shipment information.
Know account-specific requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and report status of high-value shipments.
Scan shipment documents.
Complete specific assigned duties/accounts.
Work overtime and participate in weekend on-call rotations.
Negotiate freight rates and book loads with carriers.
Check inventory in warehouse environments daily.
Requirements:
Multi-tasking while maintaining precise attention to detail.
Strong organizing skills.
Negotiating abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Typing speed of 35
words per minute.
Ability to work in a demanding, high-volume environment, particularly with email and calls.
Precise attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft products.
Tech-savvy.
