Shop Lead

We are in search of someone skilled in all areas of tractor/trailer repairs from preventive maintenance to major rebuilds.
The Shop Lead role is responsible for the oversight of the shop and personnel that has been tasked with performing maintenance on our fleet.

Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication, accurate diagnosis, and addressing all driver team member concerns.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Implement and maintain maintenance processes as per company policy.
Improve vehicle uptime through efficient repair practices.
Effectively manage assigned shift maintenance operation in accordance with financial goals.
Develop management and technical skills of maintenance personnel on assigned shift.
Monitor parts and tire inventory usage by assigned shift.
Reduce workforce turnover by improving employee relations.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, walking and climbing stairs.
Must be able to lift, carry and manipulate up to 50 lbs.
unassisted.
Must be able to perform daily tasks in extremely hot and cold environments.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of experience in maintenance management and repair.
Preferred Skills:
Effective team building abilities.
Knowledge of DOT standards of repairs and maintenance.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding terminal facility.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
