Then join us! We are searching for a full time bi-lingual Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or Counselor-Intern for our Laredo Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
We will consider LPC, LMSW, LMFT with substance use disorder experience.
Salary is dependent upon experience and license Our Laredo location provides opioid substance use counseling services to people aged 18 and older.
We primarily serve Hispanic clients.
Qualifications Include:
LCDC or LCDC-I in good standing Texas and previous experience counseling in the substance use field.
Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record (if working in a residential program).
Drug screen and background check required.
Skills Ability to professionally communicate, maintain calm in tense situations, organize, write well for client documentation, ability to build rapport with our clients and inspire them to build confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself.
Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
