Summary:
Monitor and control warehouse inventory by overseeing, directing and coordinating the movement of supplies, products and merchandise into and out of the warehouse.
Coordinate all sample requisitions, create Purchase Orders of freight.
Ensure shipments are invoiced accurately and shipping labels or shipping documents are prepared correctly.
Manage 3rd party relationships with Network Carriers to ensure SOP compliance, delivery performance, properly timed billing, and overall customer satisfaction.
Schedule all inbound foreign and domestic freight along with invoicing/posting all outbound ship outs.
Essential Functions:
Manage warehouse inventory and maintains database.
Coordinate and schedule the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment product.
Manage daily flow of inventory.
Confirm availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of product as needed.
Document all related activities and completes form and reports Knowledge of all products that are handle.
Creation and sending of invoices from sales orders either via EDI or email at the appropriate time.
Shipping arrangements for invoiced orders.
Verify shipments meet all compliance requirements.
Expedite outbound shipments.
Trouble shooting when shipping challenges that arise on a daily basis.
Confirm and close all shipments in preparation of invoicing.
Complete information from the Daily Shipping Report record with the invoice number.
Notify Customer Service in case of discrepancies in availabilities, or excess weight.
Send the record of shipments to Customer Service, Sales, Accounting and Management.
Communication with the Saltillo and Laredo Warehouses to notify any inventory discrepancies.
Attend regular meetings to review and communicate invoicing status and other issues.
Quote with carriers and inventory checks.
OTHER DUTIES:
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Responsible for meeting applicable key performance goals.
Computer based skills Spanish and English is needed to communicate between Mexico and USA marketing department.
