Description Supports the CMO, Director, and merchants in managing price analytics and margin dollar growth, including:
Assists with evaluation of competitive pricing actions and Academy s response Assists with maintenance and refinement of the price architecture and pricing rules Supports buyers in developing pricing in line reviews and assortment planning Manages competitive pricing process and maintains database Develops and manages price exception reporting (e.
g.
, competitive benchmarking gaps and store price variance) as well as weekly and monthly price management decision process Supports the design, execution and analysis of pricing tests Collaborates with Director and merchants to develop enterprise pricing strategy.
Drives insight and recommendations based on data analysis.
Assists with execution of strategy for markdowns including communication methods, execution tolerances, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.
Bachelor s degree in business or finance preferred.
MBA is a plus A minimum of 2 years of related work experience or graduate degree required.
Analyst with skills around developing meaningful insight and recommendations from data analysis from various sources Proven, result oriented problem solving skills with an ability to drive insight and recommendations from analysis Strong analytical skills Proficient in key analytical tools including Excel, Access and other relational databases Strong execution and follow-up skills Self-starting, efficient at managing multiple tasks Adaptable to change and constructive criticism Skilled in effective listening, speaking, presenting and writing Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties (Sports Management, Finance, Admin) Source:
