Join our team! Laredo Medical Center's (LMC) Respiratory Department is now hiring a Respiratory Therapist Registered/Certified to work in our thriving department at LMC's 326 bed acute hospital. The Hospital is located in sunny Laredo, Texas, just 150 miles south of historic San Antonio. The Respiratory Therapist will be reporting to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. Position's Purpose and
Essential Functions:
Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum and blood specimens ( ABG, Capillaries) to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment function. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required; Preferred a minimum of 2 years in the NICU managing patients on HFOV, Ventilators, Sipap's, High Flow Cannulas, and other modalities of oxygen delivery.
Job Requirements Include:
Education:
Required: Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy as a minimum.
Experience:
Required: Able to perform respiratory modalities and function well in various clinical settings.
Licenses / Certificates:
Required: Must be CRT or RRT as defined by the National board of Respiratory Care (N.B.R.C.) and currently licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Required: Current BLS,ACLS,PALS,NRP within 30 days of hire.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
