Position's Purpose and
Essential Functions:
Under the direction of a Radiologist, CT Technologist utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.
A CT Technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instruction, administer contrast materials, perform venipuncture, prepare and operate CT scan equipment, position the patient to capture the appropriate images, obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the department protocols.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Works under general supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Job Requirement Include:
Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology either hospital based or college degree program.
Experience:
Required:
Four (4) years or more of direct CT experience, or ARRT-CT Comp Tomography Certified candidates are eligible for this position.
A qualified candidate must possess either experience or the ARRT - CT specific certification to qualify for hire/promotion.
Licenses/Certificates:
Required:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technology or eligible.
Required:
State license or certification if applicable.
Required:
Advanced ARRT/CT Registration required or experience.
Required:
CPR required within 30 days from hire date.
Essential Job Functions:
Create a 5-star service environment.
Comply with organization, department and regulatory standards.
Process CT scans.
Perform QC on CT equipment.
Maintain work area.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
