Examples of Duties Follows Webb County Sheriff's Office Standard Operating Procedures.
Able to work with person with psychological, emotional, mental issues, and be available 24 hours, 7 days on call.
Document information on all transports in written and/or electronic formats.
Must be able to prepare, maintain and submit accurate records, files and reports.
Performs any other duties as assigned Mental Health Transport Coordinator.
Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredit insitution.
Must be certified TCLEOSE Peace Officer by the State of Texas.
Must have Crises Intervention Training (CIT) Certification, preferred.
Supplemental Information Knowledge of Webb County Sheriff's Office organizational structure, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations preferred.
Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
Be able to qualify with a semi automatic weapon to proficiency of 70% or above.
Be able to use necessary force to restrain or defend the public.
Be able to fill out vehicle log and book and Emergency Detainer order forms.
Experience in Civil Process and court procedures, and have knowledge of the Texas Penal Code preferred.
Knowledge of juvenile law, transportation code, and traffic law, preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
