Full Time Youth Care Worker The Emergency Youth Shelter is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
The Shelter provides a safe environment for youth, eases family reunification and finds alternative living environments for youth.
Position provides direct care for children ages 0 through 17 residing in a 16 bed emergency shelter facility.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be bilingual (Fluent in Spanish and English).
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and a good driving record.
Position requires the availability to work any assigned shift.
1 year work experience working with youth is preferred.
